Guys, I just can’t even today. I love the Bern, but his anti-GMO stance is painful, and now I find out from Skeptical Raptor that he’s a proponent of “alternative” medicine? Yeah, Clinton goes to a doctor who uses “functional medicine,” and that doesn’t make her a hell of a lot better, but at least she’s not actively trying to get CAM into government-funded healthcare. Damnit Bernie, you’re killing me here.
At this point I would say something about the left being less science-literate, what with all the anti-GMO and anti-vaccine crunchy granola crap that gets tossed around, but the Republican candidates don’t even believe in anthropogenic climate change, and the front-runner thinks vaccines cause autism.
At least Bernie and Hillary both support increasing NASA’s funding (even if Hillary is much, much more able to say what she likes about it).
