I’m Taking A Day Off | Vol. 5 / No. 9

It’s Christmas Eve, so I’m not doing a real news roundup today. Instead, here’s some fun photos from SpaceX.

These first three are courtesy of SpaceFlight Now, and are of the very first assembled Falcon Heavy in its hangar. It’s just waiting for its cargo…

…which is going to be Elon Musk’s first Tesla Roadster, because they can’t put anything on there they’re afraid to lose. As you can see it’s all ready to be put in the fairings.

And finally, a video of the SpaceX launch this week over California that led to some… strange speculation (and a joke from Elon himself).
